Campus Facilities
As of October 2003, Western Culinary Institute has a new and expanded campus. We are located in the historic Galleria Building, a renowned Portland landmark since 1907. Adjacent to mass transportation and easily accessible, our main campus is right in the heart of this vibrant city. |

Local Industry
The Willamette Valley offers our students the opportunity to work with the freshest ingredients. From heirloom vegetables and fruits to hazelnuts, vineyards, and seafood from the Pacific Ocean, WCI students use local ingredients whenever possible. |

Campus Life
Many WCI students are active in at least one of our 12 student clubs ranging from Charcuterie to cake decorating to the Farm-to-Table Club which supports sustainable local agricultural practices. |

Competency-Based
Students in the can receive competency-based training that includes exposure to an array of culinary proficiencies. Students in all programs finish their schooling with a practical structured externship in a property related to the students career path. An externship coordinator works with properties and assists students with setting up externships. |
